Prismatic dragon - sewing pattern and tutorial

Learn how to make your own incredible prismatic dragon plush. Warning - Advanced project.

This purchase includes the digital sewing pattern (to be printed in A4 or letter format) as well as a comprehensive video tutorial. Some sewing/plush experience is highly recommended.

Pattern makes a plush approx 13" tall excluding spikes/horns etc.

Embroidery files (and printable fabric files) are available as an add on. It is cheaper to buy the embroidery files + tutorial/pattern together rather than separate.

Embroidery sizing:

I have done my best to fit all of the embroidery for the dragon within a 5x7 hoop.

However: The original wing embroidery and the original tail spikes embroidery exceed this. For those 2 parts I have saved outsmaller versions to accommodate those with 5x7 hoops.

If you do not have a large enough hoop and still want yourwings/tail spikes to be the large size, I have included a free bonustutorial to show you how to do this with a regular sewing machine.

For reference: All of the spot embroidery and the elbow fin embroidery fit 4x4

All the fins and gold stripes fit 5x7 EXCEPT the wings and main tailspike/fin.

Smaller versions of these 2 files are available.If you have a 5x7 hoop please use the 3 part gusset files.

The 2 part gusset requires a larger hoop.

The large fin that sits on top of the head is larger than 5x7. Fort hat piece I have saved out smaller versions to accommodate those with 5x7 hoops. You will just have to have an additional seam on the main head fin as marked on the pattern.

Pattern use:

You are welcome to sell plush made using this pattern but not the pattern itself. Credit must be given even if the pattern is modified.

This pattern is not for mass production. If making for personal use and gifts you may make as many as you like by yourself. If making for sale you may make a maximum of 1 plush per week to sell using this pattern. You may make plush over several weeks and sell them at one time. For eg you make 10 plush over 10 weeks and sell them in 1 day at a convention, but not make 10 plush in 1 week to sell at a convention.

You may not use a factory to make the plush under any circumstances.
