Toucan - sewing pattern and tutorial

Learn how to make your own adorable toucan plush. This was a collaboration with the amazing JaneGumball

This purchase includes the digital sewing pattern (to be printed in A4 or letter format) as well as a comprehensive video tutorial. Some sewing/plush experience is highly recommended.

Pattern makes a plush approx 11" long from front of beak to back of rump.

Embroidery files and printed minky files are available as an add on. It is cheaper to buy the embroidery files/printed minky files + tutorial/pattern together rather than separate.

All the embroidery files for the toucans fit 4x4 hoops except the side beak pieces which use a 5x7 hoop.

If you only have a 4x4 hoop there are some options. You can do the applique manually for the beaks using a sewing machine. Or you could sew each of the beak colors together manually. I’ll talk about how to do this in the video tutorial. OR you could draw and print your own printed minky designs for the beaks

Embroidery file types include ART, EXP, PES, PEC, DST, XXX and VP3.

If your required file type is not included it may be possible for you to convert one of these file types. However I cannot offer assistance converting file types.

Pattern use:

You are welcome to sell plush made using this pattern but not the pattern itself. Credit must be given even if the pattern is modified.

This pattern is not for mass production. If making for personal use and gifts you may make as many as you like by yourself. If making for sale you may make a maximum of 1 plush per week to sell using this pattern. You may make plush over several weeks and sell them at one time. For eg you make 10 plush over 10 weeks and sell them in 1 day at a convention, but not make 10 plush in 1 week to sell at a convention.

You may not use a factory to make the plush under any circumstances. You may not distribute the files under any circumstances. If you would like to purchase the pattern so that another artist can make one of these plush for you, please contact me and we can arrange that :).
